Liu Zhongchun
Prof. Liu Zhongchun, master of Beijing Society of Qigong, co-originator of Soaring Crane style. He was born in 1935 in Shandong province over Yellow River in central-east part of China. First lessons he was taking from home teacher. After high school he has been accepted on Slavonic faculty of University of Beijing, and after graduation he became an academic worker. From 1960 to 1970 he was ailing long and heavily and he finally got well owing to practicing Qigong. After recovering he did not leave Qigong and Qigong became one of the most important part of his life. From Tai Chi he turned to walking Qigong. In 1980 he was participating in creating of Soaring Crane style (he is the author of first Chinese book about this style). All his spare time he has put in popularizing and teaching Qigong. From the beginning of 1980 he is a member and master of Beijing Society of Qigong. Since 1994 prof. Liu Zhongchun has been living in Poland and after retiring incessantly teaches Soaring Crane in Poland. Prof. Liu Zhongchun is also a co-founder and honourable president of Health Promoting Association Qiqong – Soaring Crane.
